Terms and conditions
Prices are correct as of April 2016 but may be subject to revision.
Cancellations more than 28 days before the course/tour results in a full refund.
Cancellations less than 28 days before the course/tour results in a 60% refund.
Cancellations less than 14 days before the course/tour results in a 30% refund.
Cancellations less than 48 hours before a lesson results in full charge for the course/tour.
Should the minimum number of participants for group lessons not be reached, BikeSchool Zermatt may not run the group course. Should this be the case, BikeSchool Zermatt aims to offer the customer the best possible alternative.
Our guides will work in any weather, as long as it is appropriate in the conditions. Lessons may be cancelled by us if the weather makes it impossible for us to run a normal course or tour. In this case there will be a full refund. This also applies if the course/tour cannot take place due to shut lifts.
In the case of lateness or illness on the part of the client, presumed bad weather or partly shut lifts there will be no compensation. Our guides will wait for 30 mins after the course/tour start time at the designated meeting point.
A lift pass may be required for some courses/tours and is not included in the lesson price.
The clients are joining the course/tour at their own risk and are aware of the hazards and risks in mountain biking.
BikeSchool Zermatt strongly recommends that all clients organise their own insurance. BikeSchool Zermatt is not responsible for clients’ insurance.
BikeSchool Zermatt will not start any course/tour unless all the participants are wearing a mountain bike helmet and have a mechanically sound mountain bike
BikeSchool Zermatt recommends for the client to bring a spare tube and tools to repair minor damages. Our guides are not obligated to fix the clients bike on the tour.
BikeSchool Zermatt declines all responsibility for accidents during lessons, BikeSchool Zermatt-run events, or the consequences thereof.
Swiss Law is to be used in all legal dealings between clients and BikeSchool Zermatt. Place of jurisdiction for any legal action against BikeSchool Zermatt is exclusively Visp.
BikeSchool Zermatt can take payment in cash as: Swiss Francs (CHF), bank transaction or by card via SumUp as: VISA, Mastercard, Maestro.
During our courses/tours, we may take photographs for publicity use in our brochures, posters, website, or Facebook page. If you do not agree to appear in these photos, please inform us.
